An essential tool for creating Japanese bamboo fences and working with bamboo or wood, to be kept on your belt.
The blade is made from a sandwich of extremely strong Hitachi blue steel (aogami) in the centre for the cutting part and softer steel on the surface.
The whole thing is hardened and has an RC62 hardness rating !
