These shears offer a formidable cutting edge at a very affordable price !

The blades are made of high-carbon steel and are entirely cold-forged.
The steel is extremely resistant and significantly reduces the need for sharpening.
Hardness rating (Rockwell) : HRC 58 (European blades are often between 48 and 52).
The cutting edge of the blades is polished to a mirror finish for a perfect cut, better corrosion resistance, reduced resin adhesion and easier cleaning. The rest of the blade back has a matt black finish.
The body of the blades is not hollowed out, but they are slightly twisted to reduce friction and optimise cutting. Only the cutting edges cross with a sound that speaks volumes about the quality of the cut.
There are no buffers to absorb the shock between the blade stroke limiters (so there is no wear on this part and no risk of losing the buffers either). The regular shock may not appeal to some. But this is our lowest-priced model !
The short 30 cm handles are made of Japanese oak. With a round, curved cross-section (diameter ranging from 23 to 26 mm), they offer a perfect grip and are very durable.
The blades are fitted over 7 cm and held in place by a ring and two ferrules each.
Weight : 805 g. Total length : 560 mm. Blades : 180 mm.
These shears can cut through sections of green wood measuring 15 to 20 mm. However, to preserve the wooden handles, for sections thicker than 15 mm, we recommend using pruning shears or heavy-duty pruning shears that are more suitable for this purpose.
