The main advantage of this saw, apart from its length and thinness, is that it allows the gardener to adjust the angle of the blade in relation to the handle using a brass knob.

Once the desired angle has been achieved, the blade is secured with a screw on the shaft, which has a wide notch that can be inserted with a coin, screwdriver or any other flat tool...

330 mm Japanese-style serrated blade. Blade thickness : 0.6 mm.
Tooth depth : 4 mm. 10 teeth per inch.
One tooth out of 10 is offset to facilitate the removal of sawdust.

Please note that this is a Japanese pull-cut blade ; the cutting action is performed by pulling the blade towards you. Gently guide the blade along its cutting line without applying excessive force.
Work slowly and carefully, using slow, precise movements, and remain focused.
As the blade is thin, it will bend rather than break if used incorrectly, but we nevertheless recommend wearing leather gloves when using it.
