The main advantage of this saw, apart from its length and thinness, is that it allows the gardener to adjust the angle of the blade in relation to the handle using a brass knob.
This can be very useful depending on the surrounding branches...
Once the desired angle has been achieved, the blade is secured with a screw on the shaft, which has a wide notch that can be inserted with a coin, screwdriver or any other flat tool...
(Not your Japanese tool blades, please!)
Interchangeable blades. Wear gloves when changing blades.
Perfect for pruning fruit trees and small ornamental trees.
Approximate working height : up to around 3 metres.
For storage and transport, the blade folds completely and can be stored in a groove in the wooden handle.
The wooden handle is oval-shaped for a good grip (30 x 21 mm) and is very comfortable to hold.
Brush the blade after use to remove any wood chips from the teeth.
Please note that as this is carbon steel, which is sensitive to surface oxidation, we recommend wiping and oiling the blade before storing it folded.
Wear appropriate safety equipment when using the product, such as a helmet and protective goggles.
Handle the blade with care, without using excessive force. Wear gloves.
Check that the screws are in place and secure, and ensure that the blade is properly locked before use.
