|Traditional Japanese pruner in carbon steel, Tsugaru type for the long pruning works on fruit trees. Nishigaki Brand.
This Tsugaru-type model is well known in northern Japan, in Aomori Prefecture, a region famous for its apple production. The triangular shape for the blade of this pruner, told as a "mountain head" shape, typically Japanese, was thought over 300 years ago for the lengthy works of pruning (fruit trees pruning, vines...) and cutting hardwoods. But you can use it for any pruning work in the garden (roses, shrubs, etc ...)
This pruner has straight handles and a shock absorber with a thick spring to reduce fatigue and injuries associated with repetitive actions. Its use is very pleasant during intensive works.
Weight: 243 g. Length: 200 mm. Blades: 50 mm (a little shorter than the other models).
High carbon SK5 hardened steel, extremely resistant, considerably spacing sharpening, resistant to corrosion. The lightness and resistance of this pruner are not usual in Europe.
Hardness Index (Rockwell): HRC 58 (European blades are often between 48 and 52)
Blades and handles forged in one piece for a long life.
The blades are polished with a "mirror" finish for a perfect cut, limit the adhesion of the resin and facilitate their cleaning.
Equiped with a blade clamping ring, with a "chrysanthemum flower" motif, a symbol of longevity ...
Spring "Comtois" type approaching pruners of our elders.
Simple clasp in genuine leather.
Ideal for all garden professionals such as arborists or winemakers. This pruner of exception is also a very beautiful tool.
