Kama, a genuine traditional Japanese hot-forged sickle composed of a sandwich of steels with a core of Shirogami 2 steel (white paper No. 2) ensuring the blade's extreme hardness and durability
(hardness rating HRC62 and above !).
Offering incredible sharpness, it is ideal for forestry works (cutting small branches, small woody plants, brambles or tough grasses) or splitting bamboo (lengthwise) like a nata.
Thick blade with double cutting edge, 165 mm, very slightly curved for right-handed use, however, the double bevel allows for ambidextrous use (sickles for left-handed people are very difficult to find).
Can be resharpened as desired !
